Take A Bow

Helloo! How are you? I am amazing (always). I have been very busy with my lessons, my Aunty V came and taught me and Cyd things for me to practice practice practice. First was my bowing. I have started learning this before. I am a really quick study. Apparently my being able to bow will have a purpose. You see, Cyd is really quite small, and I am getting to be really quite tall, so if I can make myself a bit more small she can get on my back more easily. I'm pretty good at it:

We also taught me the beginnings of ground driving. We had my Aunty T there too, so she was my personal photographer so you can see me even though Cyd and Aunty V are both busy with my learnings.
I did really really good, and everyone was super proud of me, which makes my head quite big. I have videos of me too, but the silly internets won't load them for me :( Next time maybe, when I've had more practice and am *even more* amazings.

Don't Forget To Floss

Hi Everybodies. Did you brush your teeth this morning? I didn't, but yesterday I was thoroughly rinsed and power floated so it's ok. I was high as a kite to start with and demonstrated how much better my owie leg is by trying to canter down the street to see my friends. Yep, the nice vet lady came and got me drunk, then put a funny little rasp thing on a (yellow!) power tool and put it in my mouth to scrape the pointies off my teeth.
"Aaaahh"
I have a slight underbite, so my teeth will not wear evenly when I chew my food. Some people wait until their pony is not eating their food and getting skinny before looking at teeth, which is not so good. Other pony owners are good at noticing changes in their pony and get it taken care of right away, like my friend who kept dropping his carrots out his mouth so his owner got it fixed and now we are dentist buddies :)  He is much older than me so has different tooth problems, my mouth is still developing. This is the picture of my teeth before Dr Cronin worked on them:

See the points on the edge of my teeth? They had started rubbing my cheek and beginning ulcers there.
I was a very good patient, and was all fixed up pretty fast.
Here is my after picture:
Nice and smooth now, see you next year!
Right now I am very healthy although just a smidge rounder than I could be. My vet lady has a new facebook page that her nice tech set up for her (he was very nice to me too, holding my face very gently and petting me). There are some articles on there you might like, I like the one about the wild ponies: Mobile Equine Veterinary Services.

You know the worst bit about having the dentist come? Being tied in a stall until I get sober enough to go eat my food:
"Lemme outta here!"
See ya next time everyone :)
